To use an industry term, Humaniz has “good bones.” It’s primarily digitizing recruiting functions instead of automating them, but it’s a solid start that will grow quickly given its founding team. In short, morning clients will be rewarded later.

Humaniz helps brokers, hiring managers, and team leaders create best practices for their recruiting and processes through its online advertising tools, meeting scheduling, administrative task reduction, and smart text communications that are proven to be more effective response generators. The company believes in a more consultative model of recruitment than a factory-like clinical recruitment process. It tracks candidate interactions and stages, links attachments, and demonstrates a system UI/UX that never distracts from the task at hand.
Humaniz was created after a rapidly growing team lost a recruiter and the staff in charge realized the challenges that a person constantly faces to ensure that the team finds people who can keep up. Manual processes will also never help a company that is scaling in a hurry. And while software has been introduced to facilitate the workflow, there is a lot of work to be done. Creating and running recruitment ads, managing their effectiveness, screening candidates, keeping candidates engaged, keeping everyone updated, managing the calendar and all the in-betweens and ups and downs that come with recruiting requires a dedicated effort that too few real estate companies have. either realize or worry about the solution. That’s why I wanted to check out Humaniz.
Overall, I think this software is a great start, especially for everyone independent brokerage or a growing team that wants to be better. This is how you do it – you invest in the infrastructure, business needs of the company. Peel back the layers of success of any top-producing brokerage firm or team and you’ll find a system at its heart, figuratively and literally.
What creates business continuity and the ability to sustain markets plagued by pitfalls like 2023 is a solid core, not CRM or purchased leads. Does your business have good bones? Tools like Humaniz can help you answer that question.
I guess I’m not too keen on the actual functions and features of this product. It’s good and makes some smart decisions with user-candidate communication management, ad placement, candidate qualifications, and text outreach, but that’s not why I like it. I’m excited to see a well-designed, purposefully thought-out piece of proptech that anchors the business leader to the process.
I remember Trackxi founder Vijay Gopalswamy saying Inman Intel that agents are not as busy as they like to think, and that more business would come if more people were simply working more productively.
“I would get five-star reviews if I was transparent, followed through, did the right thing,” Gopalswamy said of his tenure as an agent. “Half of the agents focus on marketing, Facebook and so on. If they focused on doing a better job, they would get more business.”
Streamlining your recruiting is a big part of that.
Humaniz helps guide candidates from the ad that pulled them into the process that verifies licensure and state, and helps set up an interview through self-scheduling, alleviating the need for a team admin or office manager to do it. Candidate timelines are listed along with their name and contact information for an easy overview of how long they’ve been in the process, which is a good tool to trigger action from the hiring manager. Don’t let good people hang around; you will lose them.
Appointments are displayed on the respective user’s calendar, which also includes a metric for the total number of scheduled, completed interviews that result in a hire.
Notably, Humaniz’s advertising component helps users determine what content will perform best to maximize ad spend across a number of major job boards, including Indeed, LinkedIn and ZipRecruiter, among others. Active job maintenance is essentially a part of marketing, but it’s often neglected in recruiting because most people associate a job ad with the job itself: The role doesn’t change, so why update the ad for it? Well, for many reasons, namely to let candidates know that there are actually people on the other end who care. It also helps recirculate ads to relevant websites and like all things on the internet, the newer the more relevant.
Humaniz has a lot of room for growth. I would like to see this coupled with some performance based networking solutions, e.g To echo or courtedto use recent market activity against candidate quality. Tom Ferry the investment arm put some money into these guys so I’m sure it has ways to help.
Video updates from teams and hiring, as well as content presented to candidates when they log in, could help. Shows, broker tours, etc. could be sharp ways to get people interested. Ad-linked Office landing pages can also be great, and that’s an easy thing to do.
Still, I’m more charmed by the Humaniz founders’ recognition of why their idea is important than its execution. It will work and they will only get better at it.
